Weather-Resistant Reader Board Cabinet
The weather-treated reader board cabinet is made of durable aluminum and built to withstand everyday outside elements. Aside from standard side hinge display cases, some models feature a full-length piano hinge on the door's top side with two front Cam Locks on the bottom of the cabinet. The door swings upward and is held in place with prop arms while updating your message. The cabinets also feature a clear break-resistant polycarbonate acrylic window for added protection.
Weep holes on the cabinet bottom help drain away water, and vents help reduce condensation buildup. An aluminum backer with moisture-blocking silicone sealant is installed on the display case — making the changeable marquee sign ideal for outdoor public areas and workspaces. Also installed in the cabinet is a translucent white acrylic copy board with plastic copy rails. These rails hold changeable 4-inch or 5-inch letters, included with your purchase. Additional reader board marquee letter and number sets can be purchased.
Optional Extra Heavy-Duty Cabinet
If weather conditions and the location of your reader letter board require a heavy-duty sign board, we also offer wall-mounted and standing marquee boards on posts built with hardened aluminum cabinets. Options include an illuminated back-lit lighted cabinet using UL-approved, long-lasting, and cost-effective LED lighting.
Personalized Message Header
Make your marquee board unique with a customized header. The header panel above the enclosed single-door marquee display case lets you present your church or religious affiliation, business name, school logo, or any other message. We'll gladly print your message text for free. Provide us with your test message, and we will print it in capitalized black Helvetica font. Please keep it simple for maximum visual effectiveness. You may also send your logo, image, or a different font style — we'll add it to the header panel for an upcharge.
